As Part of consolidation and backward integration, this division was setup with a capital outlay of 18 Crores for producing 60000 Tons /Annum Ingots. The Power requirement for steel melting in Two 6 Tons Induction furnaces is being met by 3 No's Gas generators each of 2 MW capacity. This project has been completed in a record time of 6 Months and commenced commercial production in August 2004. The Plant has been erected using the state of the art technology and adhering strictly to environmental pollution standards.

The Divisions capacity has been increased to 90000 Tons by an addition of another 6 Tons furnace and another 2MW capacity and getting connected to the APSEB grid. The total capital outlay has been increased to 30 Crores. The Expansion has been completed by April 2006.
